The Story Behind Print + Press Design & Apparel

Every business has a story, and ours is one of passion, evolution, and a whole lot of creativity. What you know today as Print + Press Design & Apparel started back in 2022 as something a little different—@JustAveDesigns, a small sublimation business with a quirky niche: car air fresheners. Yep, those little bursts of scent that make your drive a bit more enjoyable? That’s where it all began.

I’m Avery, the heart and hands behind this venture. When I launched @JustAveDesigns, it was just me, a vision, and a knack for design. For a year and a half, I poured my energy into perfecting those air fresheners—playing with colors, scents, and patterns to create something unique. It was a small start, but it was mine. And then came TikTok Shop. That platform was a game-changer for us. Under @JustAveDesigns, we found a community, built a following, and started to grow in ways I hadn’t imagined. It was thrilling to see people connect with something I’d created from scratch.

But as much as I loved those air fresheners, I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to explore. In late 2023, we decided to pivot. Why stop at air fresheners when we could bring our designs to life on t-shirts, tumblers, and even home fragrance products? It was a bold move, but it felt right—like the next chapter was calling. And oh boy, did that chapter take off.

Fast forward to 2025, and we’ve evolved into something bigger than I ever dreamed. We added bulk orders to our lineup, dove into DTF (direct-to-film) printing, and started crafting leather goods—like hats with those cool leather patches you’ve probably seen on our site. What started as a one-woman show officially became a full-service print shop. Today, you can find our products on our website, TikTok Shop, our Facebook group, Etsy, and even at a booth in a local vendor mall right here in Pulaski, Tennessee.

This year also brought a big milestone: a rebrand. We said goodbye to @JustAveDesigns and hello to Print + Press Design & Apparel. It’s a name that reflects who we’ve become—a business that’s all about pressing forward, printing possibilities, and designing with heart. And I’m not doing it alone anymore. Enter Courtney, my incredible graphic designer and personal friend. She’s brought her own magic to the table, and together, we’re the dynamic duo behind Print + Press. From brainstorming bold new designs to tackling custom orders, we’re building something we’re truly proud of.

Looking back, it’s wild to think this all started with car air fresheners and a TikTok account. But that’s the beauty of it—every step, every pivot, every late-night design session has led us here. Print + Press Design & Apparel isn’t just a business; it’s a story of growth, creativity, and community. And we’re just getting started.
